I worked as a fisherman for 20 years, 17 years in the Pacific and 3 years in the South Atlantic.
I grew up in the fishing village of Paúl do Mar and the sea has always been an element that has accompanied me throughout my life.
In 2021, I worked on a part-time basis during Summer and then I realised that I wanted to change my lifestyle a little. So, in 2022 I chose to work with Lobosonda, and it was an opportunity to stay connected to the sea and continue learning more about all marine animals, especially cetaceans.
The ocean is where I feel good. The sea has always been a part of me. As a child, I spent many hours by the sea, surfing, and I’ve always been curious about everything the sea has to offer./span>
My favorite cetacean is the Spotted dolphin because it’s curious and playful.
Pedro is an ocean lover and every that is related to the ocean makes him feel good and it’s where he feels at home.
