Monachus monachus

First highlight of the day was the monk seal in the harbor of Calheta. There were lots of onlookers and we phoned the natural park and talked to the biologist because it wasn't clear if the animal was healthy or not. More updates about these seal here on our blog, as soon as we get more details. Our trip with Stenella brought us to a feeding fin whale, therefore the periods under water were longer than at the surface and it was exciting where he or she would come up again. Taking pictures was even got more difficult because of the waves.
